Community Development Current Projects
Most Kenyans, especially the majority poor rely almost exclusively on land and natural resources, such as forests, water, wildlife, fisheries, dry lands, wetlands and minerals – for sustenance. Apart from Agriculture which sustains over 80% of Kenyans, other livelihood activities like pastoralism, fishing, tourism and processing natural resources for sale are entirely dependent on natural resources
ILEG Siaya Community Resource Centre (ISCRC),an initiative of the Institute for Law and Environmental Governance (ILEG), is an information, training and engagement hub for community-centred development based in Siaya County.
ILEG relies on the generosity of donors like you to turn research into action. You can support our work by making a gift today or exploring other ways to give.
