A PhD candidate (Environmental Governance and Management) at the Wangari Maathai Institute, University of Nairobi, Jacob’s research interests include evaluating the sustainability of payment for ecosystem services (PES) in the governance structure, policy, livelihood and community participation studies. He’s a sessional lecturer at the University of Nairobi (Center for Sustainable Drylands Ecosystems and Societies).
Prior to that, he has been a resource person associated with a number of consulting companies in Ghana and Botswana. He holds an MBA (Finance & Economics) from the Sch. Of Mgt – University of Leicester, UK. MSc (Hospitality) from Leeds Metropolitan University, UK and BSc Tourism from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.
